Laughlin Officers’ Spouses’ Club Scholarship Guidelines
2009-2010
Laughlin Officer’s Spouses’ Club (LOSC) is a private volunteer organization developed as a social and welfare forum for the spouses of members of the Laughlin AFB community. LOSC offers scholarships ranging from $500 to $2000. The scholarships are available to military and Department of Defense (DoD) civilian dependents and local area High School Seniors within the Laughlin AFB community who meet the eligibility requirements. The program is based upon academic record, leadership & citizenship, extracurricular activities and an essay; our goal is to identify and reward outstanding well-rounded students. Financial need will not be a criterion for selection. The scholarship awards will be presented on a non-discriminatory basis.
